Aroma Notes-

The grapes of this special Shiraz are sourced from 100+-year-old Shiraz vines. Using traditional open fermentation and basket pressing, this unique handmade wine is a reward. Bouquet of smoky blackberry, boysenberry, and resinous herbs; sauve cola and vanilla qualities gain power with aeration. Dark berry and candied cherry flavours stain the palate, picking up supple tannins on the back end. Impressively juicy and concentrated wine, with outstanding finishing thrust and cling.

Barossa Old Vine Company Barossa Valley

Barossa Old Vine Company Barossa Valley. Barossa Old Vine Company (BOVC) has taken over 100 years to develop, and consolidates one of a kind history with obvious energy. Little volumes of separately made wines are made from the finest natural product with the best hardware. The Barossa Valley is a critical wine-creating area inside the Barossa zone of South Australia. A lofty and universally famous district, it isn’t just home to a portion of the most established vineyards and wineries in Australia but also delivers some of its most unmistakable and looked for after brands. The district takes its name from the ‘Barossa’ ranges and the ‘Valley’ made by the North Para waterway, which interfaces the fundamental towns of Nuriootpa, Tanunda and Lyndoch. A striking component of the Barossa Valley’s wine scene is the nearness of extremely old vines, gladly exhibited on many wine names and amid vineyard visits. These Shiraz vines yield low amounts of natural product yet the grapes are packed with flavor and color and speak to a portion of the best offerings from the locale.
