What payment methods are accepted?
We accept payment via Visa, MasterCard, PayNow or by direct bank transfer. Please include your membership account number or invoice number in the payment reference when making a payment by bank transfer. These are both found on your invoice.
How does buying wines from Aroma of Wine work?
Aroma of Wine offers our customers and clients unparalleled access to the world's finest wines. Some wines are available for immediate delivery from our stock and private reserves, while others can be sourced through our ever-expanding global network of producers and merchants. When you select products on our website, you're requesting that we source and supply them for you. As soon as you make an enquiry or place an order, we'll send a confirmation email with your reference number. We'll then be in touch as soon as possible to let you know when you can expect your ordered items.
Do you have a retail store?
In Singapore, our premises include an office at ARK@Gambas and our storage warehouse in the Singapore Wine Vault. Although we do not currently have a retail space, we offer Next-Day Delivery on all immediately available wines for orders placed before noon.
What is the difference between Marketplace and Immediately Available wines?
Marketplace: The majority of our listings are available through our global network of producers and merchants, with a delivery time of 6-12 weeks. We endeavour to get as close to the source as possible, always aiming to purchase wines directly from the producer or trusted suppliers. We collaborate with suppliers around the world, giving us unrivalled access to a vast range of products: we have over 50,000 unique listings at any given time. Immediately Available: We also list many wines that are available for immediate delivery, held within Aroma of Wine's own stockholdings or sourced through our private reserve network. We can arrange for the wine to be delivered as soon as payment is received.
Why is there a lead time on Marketplace wines?
Marketplace wines are sourced from a wide range of suppliers around the world. We combine deliveries, and process the wines carefully to avoid damage; they are inspected upon arrival. This process can take between 6-12 weeks. However, please note that the delivery time may be significantly faster in most cases, depending on the wines' current location.Airfreight is available upon request; please speak to your Account Manager (they can advise on additional details).
Do you have a minimum order value?
Our minimum order value is £250 (GBP). Orders below this amount may incur an additional delivery charge at our discretion.
Will I be contacted when my wine arrives?
You'll be notified via the Aroma of Wine app as soon as your wine arrives. The app allows you to easily arrange delivery, export, or storage.
Where are my wines?
You can view the shipment status of your wines and see if they've arrived at our warehouse by logging into your Aroma of Wine app and going to the Portfolio page in My Portfolio.
Where can I find my invoices?
You can view and download all your recent invoices by logging in to the Aroma Fine Wine website and going to My Account/payment history.
How do I pay my outstanding invoices?
Online Payment: Download the Aroma Fine Wine app and sign in (log in). Go to your "My Accounts" or "My Portfolio" section. Look for the secure payment page link and use it to pay online. Direct Bank Transfer: Make a direct bank transfer to the following account: Account Name: JC Wine & Spirits Pte Ltd Bank: OCBC Bank Singapore Account Number: 551-811706-001 PayNow UEN: 201009267G In the payment reference, include your account number or invoice number. You can find both these numbers on your invoice.
How do I organize the delivery of my wines?
The easiest way to organize your wines' delivery is through the Delivery page on My Portfolio, located within your Aroma Wine app. Select Add For Delivery next to the relevant wines to manage your deliveries.
What are the current Singapore GST rates?
I understand you believe you have been charged unauthorized amount by Aroma of Wine. Here's what you can do: Contact Aroma of Wine Aroma of Wine mentions that if you see a charge on your bank statement from them and you haven't placed an order, you should contact them. They request a screenshot or copy of the unauthorized charge to expedite their investigation and response. Here are Aroma of Wine's contact details (if not already available): Look for a contact us page on their website. Search online for Aroma of Wine's customer service phone number or email address. Additional Information You can mention the 9% GST charge they levy according to Singaporean law, but it likely wouldn't be relevant to resolving the unauthorized charge.
Which formats are accepted for storage?
We store all sizes of wine bottles, from half bottles to imperials, for both individual bottles and entire cases. We can store them in bond (duty not paid yet) or duty-paid (duty already paid). Please note that we inspect every bottle of wine carefully when it arrives. We reserve the right to reject any items that are not suitable for storage due to reasons like cork taint or leakage. It's important to let us know before you send any wines to us. When your shipment arrives, our warehouse will need a shipping list reference. You can generate this by logging in to your Aroma of Wine account and using the "Add Product" function in "My Account".
Can I store my wines with you?
Yes, we can store your wines in our climate-controlled cellars. The wines will be stored in your personal Cellar. Please speak to your account manager for details.
Are my wines insured wish lst in storage?
Yes, all wines stored with us are fully insured at their replacement value.
How much does storage cost?
We charge SGD $1.00 per bottle per month (excluding GST) for storage. Minimum storage charges may apply; please contact your account manager.
Where can I find my wine inventory and track which orders have arrived?
View Your Wine Cellar Inventory You can easily view the wines you've purchased from Aroma of Wine that are currently stored in your cellar. Here's how: Sign in to the Aroma of Wine website or app. Go to the "My Portfolio" section. What You'll See The "Summary" page will show you: Wines in your cellar: This indicates which orders have arrived and are currently being stored. Wines with complete order/delivered status: This shows wines that have been fully ordered and delivered (may not be in your cellar yet). Please note: You can request to have your order history removed from your portfolio if needed.
How do I access my portfolio?
Find My Portfolio You can access your "My Portfolio" section on both the Aroma of Wine website and app. Creating a New Account If you haven't signed up with Aroma of Wine yet, follow these steps: Visit the Aroma of Wine website. Look for the "Aroma of Wine" section in the top right corner (it might be the logo or text). Click on "Create New Account" to start the registration process. Activating Your Account Once you create your account, you'll receive an email with instructions on how to activate it. This might involve setting a password or resetting an existing one.
