Howard Park

The History of Howard Park & Our Western Australian Wines

Howard Park is a pioneering Western Australian winery, proudly helmed by the Burch family. It has been prolific within its 30-year history, encompassing two generations, two wine regions and four vineyards.

The story began in 1986, borne out of an ambition to craft wine with generational cellaring potential.

Spending years meticulously discovering quality fruit producers in both Margaret River and the Great Southern, the aim was to identify and develop only the best parcels of fruit for the wine.

Small beginnings grew into a multi-regional endeavour, with carefully tended vineyards in the premier grape growing regions of Western Australia- the Great Southern and Margaret River.

Calling two wine regions home has allowed Howard Park to be an Australian leader in crafting award-winning wines that each tell their own story with a distinctive focus. These include Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot Noir and Méthode Traditionelle sparkling wine.

The Margaret River region is a spectacular place to experience the very best wines the state has to offer, and we’re lucky enough to call this corner of Western Australia home to our winery and cellar door.

Come and discover why Howard Park is one of Western Australian’s best wineries, while you soak in the unique surroundings and attractions of the Margaret River region.
