Aroma Notes-

Two Hands Ares, Colour is deep dark crimson red. Aromas of plums, blackberry, dried lavender, wet clay and sandalwood.
Palate - Open and caressing with a lovely flow and carry across the palate. The front palate is dominated by notes of warm plum and blackberry with secondary notes of lavender, herb de Provence, sage and sandalwood. Has depth and concentration without the heaviness. Tannins are tight yet very fine and have great length finishing with notes of chocolate espresso and wet earth.

Two Hands Barossa Valley

Two Hands Barossa Valley. Today, Two Hands is owned by Michael Twelftree, together with Colorado native Tim Hower.  Tim’s love of the Barossa Valley led him to acquire several premium vineyards across the region and brought him into contact with Two Hands, culminating in his investment in February 2015. Since Tim’s involvement, Two Hands has gone on to secure additional estate vineyards, notably the Holy Grail site on Seppeltsfield Road, which is set for further vineyard development in 2016. With Michael and Tim sharing an ambitious vision for the future, Two Hands next chapter in the journey is sure to be exciting.

The Region

Barossa Valley

The Barossa Valley is a renowned wine-producing region northeast of Adelaide, in South Australia. The area encompasses towns such as Tanunda, Angaston and Nuriootpa, and an array of high-profile wineries offering tours and cellar-door tastings. Shiraz grapes are the local speciality. The stone cottages and Lutheran churches throughout the region are testament to a 19th-century wave of German settlers.
