Saturated ruby. Fresh red berries and cherry on the nose, with complicating notes of cracked pepper and licorice. Fleshy raspberry and candied cherry flavors gain power with air, becoming deeper and sweeter. The finish features rich cassis and cherry preserve flavors and slow-mounting tannins, with a late jolt of black pepper. Still primary, but this holds very good promise.
